Digital electronic circuits and introduced the explosive growth of digital electronics. Digital circuits are the physical representation of boolean algebra and are the basis of all digital computers. Digital signals are expressed by a finite set of states rather than a continuum, as is the case for the analog signal. Digital signal takes the value 0 or 1, such a signal is called a binary signal. Digital circuits use two voltage levels labeled Low(0) and High(1).
